Children are the future and every boy and girl deserves a good education so they can grow up to become responsible citizens in their communities. Lack of training may lead to radicals and violence in the society. Some children that drop out of school find themselves in gangs and drug activities because their parents cannot afford secondary education or college tuition. Maranatha International Orphanage Center’s strategy is to identify such children from various parts of the country and inner cities before their situations get out of hand. There is the risk of losing such children to the street life full of crime, drug abuse and violence. MAIOC believes that by taking these unfortunate children into our orphanage is the main way to educate them and enhance their lives so that they can support themselves financially and become contributing and accepted members of the society.
